Surfing The Nations is holding our 3rd Annual Freedom Surf Contest - “Surfers for a Drug-Free Hawaii” May 9th & 10th, 2008 at Kuhio Beach, Waikiki! This years contest will be awesome!The purpose behind this Honolulu City and County endorsed surfing event is to bring awareness to the prevalence of drug-use in Hawaii and to communicate effective alternatives, namely through the sport of surfing!
Surfing The Nations is a humanitarian, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, committed to impacting local and international communities through the sport of surfing by meeting needs and changing lives.
We are asking for your thoughtful consideration in partnering with Surfing The Nations in our efforts to combat substance abuse and celebrate a Hawaii free of drugs. Any donations, monetary or products, would be greatly appreciated.
Monetary donations will be used toward the running costs of the contest; such as, trophies for the kids, goodie bags, quality judges, scaffolding, and publicity.
Product donations such as: sunscreen, surf/beach equipment, wrist bands/event equipment, sunglasses, hats, bathing suits, wax, surfboards, leashes, footpads, clothing apparel, stickers, gift certificates, etc. are more than welcome.
Your generosity will benefit our entire island and surfing community! All donations are tax deductible.
